I grew up on Meyers Lake with my Kentucky bred family living just across the street and down the road 🥰. I believe it was my grandmother who gave me my first camera: it was digital, tiny and on a keychain! I've worked with disposable, SLRs, DSLRs, Polaroids, Lomography cameras and even a pinhole one! I've always loved photography and exploring different methods, lighting, you name it - is my JAM.
For the last three years, I have been focused on composing beautifully crafted, memorable portraits.
Unique Style and Background
I have a bachelors degree in music education, though these days my son is my only student. Mixing media has always piqued my interest, starting with the love of claymation films such as The Nightmare Before Christmas. I think this is why I try to look at things from all angles, imagining its' structure, colors, lighting, etc.
Maybe it's my awkwardness, as I am always trying to see and understand every perspective. Whatever it may be, embracing the weird in a fun and safe environment can lead to a joyful experience and some incredible photos.
